The DA program consists of numerous youth groups located throughout the country.
To join a DA, a player must contact the club they want to join and learn about the club identification process. The DA Club Map will help you find the club closest to you and provide contact information for each club.
All Development Academy member clubs adhere to the Academy’s rigorous training and playing conditions, ensuring that players develop their skills in an elite environment.
Club Development oversees youth clubs across the country and evaluates DA and non-DA teams on a year-round basis.
The U.S. Soccer Development Academy believes that the selection of a player to the DA squad should be determined by skill and aspiration, not financial means.
Clubs pay a registration fee of $50 per player and are responsible for all travel expenses except those associated with Development Academy championships.
US Soccer pays the full trip to the championships for each qualifying team.
